The 10m and the 6m sphere can have internal projection producing 360 degrees of panorama video using 4 projectors. The 3m projection sphere can have a maximum of 180 degrees of video using internal projection. The spheres have flattened bases where ballast is placed to secure the dome to the floor / plinth. External or internal fans run constantly to keep the spheres inflated with specially designed heat extractor ports to remove excess heat caused by the projectors. External projection possible if needed. These spheres are made of a waterproof material so they can be used outside in just about any fair weather conditions.
Complete spheres
with no base so all projection must be from the outside. Panorama 360 degree projection possible using 4 - 5 projectors. These spheres have fans built in to the top or bottom and can be mounted in any orientation. The fans run continuously to keep the spheres inflated. These spheres are perfect for truss mounting or for flying just about anywhere. They are made of a lightweight material and are aimed at being used under sheltered cover or for indoor use. Our video servers warp and blend the projection together to produce a seamless 360 degree image.
Projection Spheres with plinth designs
The plinth or frame is an essential addition to the setup of all our projection spheres. The internal projection begins approximately 0.4m from the base of the spheres so this area needs to be concealed. Plinth and framed examples are shown on the left.
