The concept we developed with the Tourism Board was to show that Hong Kong had re-opened to the world after the SARS crisis, with the theme “Live it Love it. Hong Kong”.
The show ran for six weeks and was based in Victoria Harbour on 11 barges. Custom made video for the show was simultaneously projected onto both the StratoSphere and waterscreens.
On the centre barge was the StratoSphere with full dome video projection, full colour laser storyboard and two 40w YAG lasers. Either side of the sphere were two waterscreens with video projection, and two DPSS green lasers.
Behind this were six firework barges. The show lasted 20 minutes.
Continuing the Live It, Love It campaign the Hong Kong Tourism Board contracted us for it's first StratoFantasia event in the USA. The event took place in San Francisco over two days with the main focal point of the multimedia show being our 50ft StratoSphere with our internal blackout dome. This unique inner dome allows the StratoSphere to be used as a venue with internal projection during the day.
